In 2014, he won first place twice consecutively (during the first and second semesters) in the Jazz Pianists Competition organized by the Faculty of Music at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

Winner of the selection process for Master Classes at the IX Cartagena International Music Festival.

In 2015, he was awarded the Jóvenes Intérpretes Series prize by Banco de la República – Biblioteca Luis Ángel Arango. For the first time in the history of the program, a solo jazz piano concert was accepted.

In 2016, he applied again for the Jóvenes Intérpretes Series and, for the second time, won the Banco de la República – Biblioteca Luis Ángel Arango award, this time presenting a jazz concert in the improvisation category.

In 2017, the Huila Departmental Assembly honored him with the "Orden Cacique Timanco" for elevating the name of the Huila region.

In 2018, he won the XXX Teatro Libre International Jazz Festival with The Bara Group, earning a Steinway & Sons piano as part of the prize.

In 2018, he was selected to be part of the Big Band Bogotá 2018–2019.
